Call for sessions and workshops
Submission deadline: September 22, 2025 - October 25, 2025
The International Precipitation Conference (IPC) is the leading global forum for advancing understanding of precipitation processes, observations, and applications. IPC15 will bring together scientists, practitioners, and stakeholders from around the world to exchange knowledge and co-develop solutions for one of Earth’s most vital and complex systems.

We are pleased to open the Call for Sessions and Workshops for IPC15. We invite proposals that align with the scientific themes of the conference and that foster interdisciplinary exchange, innovation, and impact.
We welcome proposals for:

Scientific Sessions: 90-minute sessions, which may include invited (1) and contributed talks, lightning presentations, or panels.

Workshops: 2, 3 or 4 hour events (before or during IPC15 week), focused on hands-on training, capacity building, or community dialogue.​

Each proposal should include:

Title (concise and descriptive)
-
Description (150–250 words; scope, objectives, relevance)

Theme.

Conveners (up to 5; name, affiliation, email)

Keywords (up to 5)
-
(Optional) Workshop Component (linked to or separate from a session)
